For research and the creation of digital copies (digitisation), we have received photo albums, individual photographs, and an entire box of photo films belonging to Arnolds Spāde (a cyclist and one of the founders of Latvian rugby).
So far, we have identified the following athletes in the photographs:
Aija Vismane, Laimrota Kalvāne, Anita Emsiņa, Maija Saule, Ināra Iškova, Andris Cukurs, Indulis Jansons, Uldis Bergmanis, Arkādijs Svece, Ernests Pūce, Imants Stradiņš, Ziedonis Cakuls, Ojārs Siliņš, Vitauts Krasko, Andris Rudzītis, Pēteris Strods.
We continue our work to identify other cyclists from the 1950s–1960s.
