Today, for research purposes, we have received valuable photographs from Dainis Grantiņš (World Junior Champion in cycling, member of the USSR second national team, champion in road cycling events, member of the USSR national track team, and winner of many other medals).
The photographs feature many outstanding Latvian cyclists, including:
Dainis Liepiņš, Gaidis Lapiņš, Andris Ločmelis, Martins Palejs, Dainis Grantiņš, Agris Sutra, Juris Serdjukovs, Armands Freimanis, Oskars Čipāns, Arvīds Bogdanovs, Arkādijs Svece, Igo Japiņš, and others.
In the near future, separate articles will also be published about these outstanding cyclists in order to present their sporting achievements and contributions to the history of Latvian cycling in greater detail.
