Today, at the Čiekurkalns / Šreinbuša crossroads (near Rusova Street 9), from 10:00 to 15:00, a Midsummer market is taking place.
As part of the event, from 10:30 to 13:30, a cycling orienteering event around Čiekurkalns is being held – a new map with 20 locations that participants must manage to photograph while traveling by bicycle.
Taking part in this orienteering event is also our RSB “Latvello” member, 94-year-old Edgars Račis.
The photograph shows Imants Stradiņš together with Edgars studying the photo albums of Ziedonis Cakuls and Harijs Japiņš before the start, which we brought along at the invitation of the Čiekurkalns / Šreinbuša Association.
